One of the world’s fastest growing hospitality chains, Rixos Hotels will cater for the 33rd Arab League Summit on 27 - 29 March 2012 in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq. Rixos Hotels will operate all the hotels, residential villas and palaces where the paticipating presidents and ministers will stay.
Rixos Hotels founded in 2000 in Antalya is expanding rapidly and just added a new successful event on to its portfolio. Rixos Hotels - catered for more than 14 international events – is now hosting 33rd Arab League Summit coordinated in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq.
Rixos Hotels renovated 7 five star hotels, 6 palaces and 18 villas with Rixos Hotels’ flawless concept. Hence Rixos Hotels will be running a hospitality chain of 6000 beds. All the properties will be run with Rixos Hotels standards by Rixos Hotels’ professional teams. Two thousand five hundred Turkish staff will be working on the event including F&B and accommodation. 600 chefs, 820 waiters, 250 stewards, 10 Executive Chefs, 78 Butlers, 62 protocol butlers, 120 captains will be working during the summit to provide real Rixos hospitality. All the services in the properties such as house keeping, F&B, room service etc. will also be done by Rixos Hotels.
Rixos Hotels staff will be serving leaders of Kuwait, Jordan, Lebanon, Mauritania and Somalia and all the other protocols, 10 countries in total. Rixos Hotels was the caterer hospitality group for more than 14 organizations such as 32nd Arab League Summit in Libya, Arab-Africa and European Union Summits.
24 hours continous service
Rixos Hotels’ cooks, butlers and protocol service staff will be giving a 24 hour non-stop service for the prime ministers during their stays in palaces of Baghdad. Rixos Hotels will serve international cuisine as well as Turkish and Lebanese cuisine. The menu of the summit will be a perfect mixture of Turkish and Iraqi cuisine. Typical lamb of Middle East will be cooked with very special ways and served to privileged guests. A unique kind of Ottoman cusine in olive oil and the best of Iraqi cuisine will be cooked by Rixos Hotels’ globally rewarded chefs. The dessert of the menu is dates covered with 24 carat gold. The most favourite Turkish baklavas will be also served towards the end of the meal. All the presidents and ministers will be provided with their ethnic food as well as Turkish cuisine.
