Life in Istanbul
Istanbul which is one of the most important provinces of Turkey and Europe is a huge trade and business center although it is not the capital city. It can be stated that the business centers are mostly located in Taksim, Mecidiyeköy and inbetween the Levent-Maslak route. The regions where shopping and entertainment intensified can be stated as Taksim, Nişantaşı and Bebek-Ortaköy route.
But the identifying factor that makes Istanbul different from the other metropols is that it is a multicentered province. The districts and quarters like Bakırköy, Sarıyer, Zeytinburnu, Eminönü, Eyüp, Fatih, Kadıköy, Üsküdar, Bostancı, Ümraniye and Beylikdüzü that cannot be easy to count and mention are alone big enough to be regarded as cities in many European Countries.
Despite the fact that every street and quarter has its own characteristic and beauty, the pearl of Istanbul is the Bosphorus. You must see Bosphorus that takes place in the verses of Poets, songs, canvases of the painters, lines of literatis and you must not leave the city without tasting a delicious dinner there. Another thing is that you must never tell anybody that you visited Istanbul without visiting the Islands and crossing Bosphorus with the ship with a tea and a sesame ring on your hand.
