We simply love staying at the Rixos Premium. Fantastic room with spectacular sea view, housekeeping excellent, all staff friendly and helpful, amazing restaurants, fantastic beach area with comfortable sunbeds…….a real escape from it all location and we always return home feeling relaxed and recharged. Thank you.
Comfortable & clean rooms. Nice amenities. Luggage service very good. However, hallways in room floor need painting & carpets always were dirty - need deep cleaning or replaced. Towel policy for reserving chairs was not being enforced & so each day we had trouble finding 2 chairs together although many not being used (just saved). Gorgeous artwork, flowers, lobby. Best breakfast ever had! Breakfast table servers were hard working but not friendly. Hostesses for breakfast were friendly though.
Great hotel, well located for the old town, good food, good sun deck. Great staff.
Enjoyed dinner and the spa. Drinks at sunset. Breakfast was next level. Hope I make it back here

When we arrived, we were given a room that was very tired, and didn't reflect the 5 star experience that we were expecting. We informed staff and were very quickly moved to a much nicer, fresher room. The staff were excellent

I traveled with my husband and two grown-up sons and we enjoyed a wonderful week's holiday. The hotel is beautifully situated, right on the stunning beach and just outside of the Old Town. The staff throughout were friendly, gracious and helpful. The main restaurant where we ate breakfast and dinner most days was very good also. Our stay was only really marred by the cost of drinks. The most affordable bottle of wine for example was 51 Euros. This seems out of synch with other Rixos hotels we've stayed in.
The food was good quality but not hot due to being kept in tureens. Which were not heated. Do not like our food cold when it should be hot. At breakfast no serviettes on the table. Asked for iced water which was hit and miss and quite often had to get our own. Asked for coffee not too be too strong and the guy at breakfast said this was not possible because it was a machine. However my husband managed to do it from the self service machine. To be honest don’t know what this guy did. He just seemed to have a chat with staff, wander around the place and then go and eat his breakfast. Not very professional.
Excellent location in a beautiful building however the hotel is more akin to a good four star than a five star hotel. The pool deck is very tired and greatly in need of refurbishment and the pool bar prices very exepnsive for what was sold. My biggest disapointemnt was with our room. We travelled with TUI and booked a garden room, I was disaponted to find it in a hotel annexe with threadbare carpets in the corridor. I asked for a balcony and was told there wasnt any availalable and yet the rooms next to ours all had balconies and which remained unoccupied for the length of out stay. Not only did my room have no balcony it looked out at a wall, no garden but an alleway and over looked by a residential apartemnt complex with washing fluttering about. On departure i mentioned this to the receptionist and his attiude was non plussed and thats putting it mildily. I had the choice of three hotels in dubrovink for my trip and I unfortunaltley picked the rixos. I dont expect to book into a 5 star hotel and find this type of guest accomdation being offered!!
View from our room was spectacular. Also had great meals at both the Seafood and Greek restaurant.
Rooms great, breakfast great. The restaurant manager was shouting at all the staff at breakfast and making everyone feel uncomfortable. The staff seemed scared of him. The pool area needs maintenance. Peeling paint and the pool ladder was broken.
