Had a problem with original room. It was resolved very quickly by front desk
I have to say that my opinion is very mixed. The welcome was very nice but the reception team was quite ‘rude’ making up excuses for the waiting time and did not show us any empathy after we had a flight at 6 in the morning and could only enter our room at 16:30. The room itself has a very big sigaret smell, we changed rooms because also the cleaning was not good, mirrors were dirty and a lot of small things were dirty. But the smell of sigaret kept being there the whole stay, even in the hallway. Also the airco in the room did not seem to function as it was not giving cold air.. The service of the restaurant and bars/lounges are perfect I would say, they are all very nice and they know what service is! I was very happy and satisfied with the food available and the drinks that we could choose from.
First time in a Rixos hotel I hope it’s not my last ,helpful and friendly staff,food and drinks fantastic,patisserie cakes and the ice cream we couldn’t walk past them. Adult entertainment was good with a different band on each night, felt there could’ve been a singer on somewhere else in the hotel as well.
All good except the room. we were initially had to stay in Orient zone family room, but hotel changed it to an old building (as an upgrade). but it was not good... everything broken, old. doors in both bathrooms from glass and every time opening was a lottery, will it break or not... thank God did not
Great location, great staff, wonderfull facillities for agood value of money
Having stayed at many Rixos hotels this was not the same experience. Everything seemed more in line with Russian guest than British Europeans . The staff were rudely treated by these and have to put up and surprised when we showed manners . Bar staff are minimal and service is slow 2 barman on and one making cocktails who was brilliant. Hotel needs up dating on the pool decking . I would not return purely due to the Russian bias and the way they run and intimidating others . Will head to dalaman region
I truly enjoyed my stay at Rixos, and overall, everything was very good, with a few areas that could be improved. I would still consider staying again, but with slightly lower expectations. What could be better: - While the food variety was wide, none of the dishes really stood out. This was my fourth Rixos experience, and honestly, the taste was average without a memorable “wow” factor like the other ones. - The room itself was very nice, but the bathroom and in-room fridge felt outdated and not up to Rixos standards. The elevator also looked old and wasn’t comfortable to use. The hot water was another issue—at first, it was only lukewarm despite maintenance saying it was “normal.” Strangely, after two days, the water became hotter, though it fluctuated between hot and cold. - The AC made a loud noise, likely from loose filters. Maintenance fixed it temporarily, but the sound returned shortly after, which was disturbing at night. - Cleanliness was acceptable overall, but areas like the elevator could have been maintained better. - Communication before arrival was disappointing. None of my emails (to the official site or confirmation contacts) were answered. At check-in, I was told the reception uses a different email, but as a guest, I could only know and rely on the official contact details provided. What I really liked: - The room design and style were lovely. - Staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and welcoming. - The resort layout with pool, greenery, and beach in sequence was beautiful and created a great atmosphere. - Very nice beach. - The live bands at the club were fantastic, we enjoyed them every night. - Quick and convenient golf cart service made moving around easy. - The food variety was impressive, even if the quality didn’t always match. Overall: Despite the issues, I still see this hotel as a possible option for a future stay. However, I would go in with adjusted expectations, especially regarding food quality, given Rixos’ reputation.
I feel that staff service should be higher quality
Everything was beyond expectations but the washrooms were meant to be for disabled person that were very uncomfortable to use.
The staff couldn't do enough for us. The hotel definitely had the wow factor! The hotel offering free entry passes, inc. transport to The Land of Legends was fantastic!
It was good, but the room is very old, needs renovation. Food was good, pool was good, vibe was great. Some of the staff at the reception were rude for no reason!!
shuttles to land of legends are OK, we spend most of our times at this theme park.
