I spent $600 per night so I expected a lot more. The quality of the room furniture is not 5 stars quality. The quality of the food is not 5 stars quality. Things were okay but I expected better than okay!
I stayed at the hotel with my wife for our honeymoon. The hotel is very nice and clean. The best part of our vacation was the sea. The Italian restaurant is more than wonderful, Mahmoud, Mohammed and Ahmed are very good people, I thank them especially for this experience in the Italian restaurant. The Turkish restaurant was not what I expected at all because of the poor menu. I was expecting a lot of Turkish food especially Kunafa and we did not find any. Unfortunately, we were very annoyed here at the seafood restaurant. The number of workers is very small, which makes them neglect the guest in the service. The food was very very late and the service was bad. It was mentioned in the menu that we can choose fresh food and when I started to choose, he said that I have to pay money for this even though I am ultra open closev. Only Mahmoud who served us the food was a very nice person and always smiling, thank you to him. Regarding the entertainment team, it is not at the level of Rixos at all. It is as if they are working in the street. No one came to say hello. Even in the volleyball. In the afternoon, no one stands with the guests there. The volleyball court ground is not good and many get injured there from the rocks. The kids club is just a room and there is no program, only a disco and pool party building. There was a girl we asked about the program. She was sitting on the phone and did not pay any attention to us and when we said hello to her, she did not let go of the phone from her hand and said hello without looking at us. The disco is in the evening. The DJ who plays songs plays very old songs and does not know how to move from one song to another and what songs they are. The rhythm of the song is high then it drops once, we feel that he wants to leave and wants the guests to feel bored. I would like to thank the guest relationship girl, her name is Nada, she helped us a lot and she was always smiling.

The level of customer service is unmatched, the food was amazing, the WiFi was superb, the location and the views were absolutely the best.

The location of this hotel is truly world-class — I don’t think there’s anything like it anywhere else. However, the overall experience unfortunately didn’t live up to the premium standard that I have always associated with the Rixos brand. In the past, when I stayed at Rixos Sharm El Sheikh and Rixos Hurghada, those were some of the best hotel experiences of my life: exceptional service, a warm and impressive welcome, and a feeling of genuine hospitality from the moment I arrived. This time, at Rixos Alamein, the reception felt a bit cold and impersonal, the place was extremely crowded and somewhat disorganized. I had even mentioned to the receptionist that it was my wedding anniversary — a very special occasion for me — and that I had booked a suite. She agreed to arrange it, but when I got to the room it wasn’t the suite I had expected, and there were no special touches in the room to recognize the occasion, which is something I’ve always experienced in other Rixos stays. Even the breakfast service and overall hospitality were not at the same high level I’m used to. It wasn’t bad, but it was very average — which doesn’t match the Rixos name. In summary, while the location is outstanding, the experience as a whole felt ordinary and lacked the warmth, attention to detail, and premium quality that make Rixos unique.
Nice place, great big rooms. Blackouts, don’t black out. Very loud ACs which can keep you up at night. Employees are all extremely helpful, but you can rarely find them due to the hotels business. Every a la carte restaurant was full booked & the open buffet had not seats. Employees were gracious & helpful. Guest relations did their absolute best. It was just an influx of people everyday. For the price, I expect a higher level of service and availability.
The hotel, the sea, the breakfast, the atmosphere and the staff are excellent, but the place needs to be developed in the room cleaning staff and the comfort of the bathroom as well. During my stay, there were tourist groups that did not match the quality of the place, and this made the breakfast experience difficult and completely disorganized.
