It was a lovely stay. Loving that we don't have the plastic bands anymore. Food was fantastic, although we missed the ice cream machine ;) Not sure if you have plans to reinstate the breakfast and lunch in the Orient restaurant, that was probably the highlight last time we visited. Hotel was spotless and clean. Loving the classical music in the lobby as well. Thank you
The staff make this hotel such a pleasure and make you feel like a family member I can’t praise them enough. Cecilia in customer relations was so helpful and professional in her role and assisted in our few concerns. The beaches are amazing and pool areas so clean and well maintained. All Al le carte restaurants are top class and again amazing staff The rooms are a little dated and need a refresh but it’s early days yet in the transitional period from Hilton to Rixos. Food in turquoise restaurant needs to be checked at times by the chefs regarding keeping all dishes hot not like warm but on the whole plenty of choices available and good flavours. The drinks policy is different in all bars which can be confusing not sure why you can’t get same branded drinks in all bars especially in the heat as outside is sometimes too hot. Overall amazing holiday and already booked to return a huge thank you to all staff our room 701 was stunning thank you once again Cecilia for making that a dream holiday celebrating our anniversary.

Every member of staff were fantastic friendly and helpful. It was lovely to talk to them all from Bal in housekeeping, Monisha in breakfast buffet, lady making coffee at breakfast (sorry can’t remember her name), Stephen and Manika in Stakehouse, and the Egyptian barman at adult pool, and all of the bartenders and waiters at outdoor bar above Steakhouse- they were all fantastic. The food and n all of the restaurants were great, with good choice.
Visited before as a Hilton in 2023 food and beverage improved, well trained customer friendly staff in all departments, nice room comfy bed good shower, a bit dated decor. Enjoyed all the restaurants, La bodega bar needs an upgrade softer furnishings and lighter decor.
From check in to check out, we were looked after well by the team esp Prakash, Camille and all the amazing buggy operators. The facilities are top-notch. The food and drinks are generous and delicious. Definitely a venue worth coming back to again when the weather cools down.
We stayed at the Rixos Al Mairid for 10 nights in a one bedroom suite (6th floor), our rooms was spacious & extremely comfortable. Turquiose restuarant food choice was very good & I dont eat meat & there was plenty for me to eat. Al a carte restaurants are vey nice the meus are quite restrictive more choice needs to be added to the main courses for variety - can get a bit repetitive Plus, another Al a carte restaurant needs to be added ir a Asian themed The hotel grounds inc beach are all extremely well kept & you have ampul space to get away Evening entertainment after a week can get repetitive but is goof for a UAE hotel Gym & spa a great addition with up to date equipment Overall an enjoyable stay but there are some improvements needed
THE ROOM WAS LOVELY AND CLEANED EVERYDAY THE SALT POOL AREA WAS LOVELY BUT THE POOL WAS LIKE A BATH SO DIDNT COOL YOU DOWN THE FRESHWATER POOLS WERE MUCH COOLER. WE LIKED THE ADULT POOL BUT THE RESTAURANT SAID IT WAS A SEAFOOD SNACK BAR BUT IT WASNT AND THERE WAS ONE TOILET THAT WAS NOT THE CLEANEST SO WE WOULD ONLY GO THERE FOR A FEW HOURS BUT IT IS A LOVELY SPOT IT JUST NEEDS SOME LOVE AND MONEY SPENDING ON THE TOILETS. THE RESTAURANT RESERVATION APP IS VERY TEMPREMENTAL BUT IF YOU CANT WORK IT IF WE WENT TO SEE RECEPTION THEY SORTED IT FOR US. BUFFET RESTAURANT HAS GREAT SELECTION BUT WOULD RECCOMEND A ADLULT SECTION LIKE THE OTHER RIXOS'S WE HAVE STAYED AT AS SOME PARENTS DIDNT CONTROL THEIR KIDS AND THEY WERE CLIMBING BEHIND ME WHILE I WAS EATING. IT WAS OUR 25TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY WHILE WE WERE THERE AND WE HAD A ROOM MADE UP FOR US WHICH WAS LOVELY.
We had a great stay at Rixos and enjoyed all the facilities. Prakash at the reception ensured that we had a smooth check in and we were very pleased with his service.
Thanks for Guest Relations for room decoration to my daughter birthday. Very nice .we don’t like Asian night for weekend if for normal week days much better . All good .
Great size rooms with excellent amenities including luxury toiletries, tea and coffee making facilities, bath robes, slippers and mini bar. Lots of bottles of water were left regularly. Lovely bathroom with separate tub and a rain shower. Pools and beach were clean and pool towels were readily available EVERYWHERE whether you were at a pool or the beach. No problem getting sunbeds at any time of day either. Service at the bars was prompt, lovely cocktails and even coffee available. Buffet restaurant was only chaotic at weekends when a sudden influx of locals bombarded the hotel, always something on offer and allergens were clearly marked. Drinks service in the buffet was prompt too. Trying to book a restaurant was like a lottery using the QR code, but guest relations were very helpful trying to accommodate you if you spoke to them. Golf buggies were available to take you round the resort and to your rooms 24/7 which was fantastic. Would highly recommend this resort, we flew into Dubai and transfer was just over an hour. WiFi was excellent throughout the whole resort, even by the pools.
Peaceful and relaxing with one small drawback being the app to book al a Carte restaurants. We are off to Rixos adults only for Christmas hopefully living up to the same standards or better.
