Rixos Al Mairid Ras Al Khaimah

Check-in ok , room ok , bathroom well equipped with quality stuff . Fridge filled with cola-fanta-sprite gives a bad impression. Main restaurant was ok , good fresh food . Cooks and waiters were good . The cart that transports used dishes should not travel through the restaurant and wheels should be replaced. Beach bars were not open during the day. I could only order 2-3 cocktails or coffee for take away on the beach .They only opened at 18:00 when it was already too cold , so they were useless. The general impression was that you are doing everything possible to avoid serving drinks to your clients. Not what I expected from RIXOS Also I payed for Ultra All Inclusive , but bartenders asked me to pay for fancier drinks. No problem , if i want to drink something special I can do it at home with my friends. The fruit and juices bar on the beach opened from 14:00 to 16:00 , exactly wen everybody went out for lunch. It remembered me of communist times we had to endure 35 years ago

I was looking to peace and cool place to celebrate my younger daughter & wife's birthday. I found this hotel & booked through call center. Stay at this hotel was very good & meet our expectations.

The hotel stay was good , where the staff were friendly and kind, checkin and checkout went smooth. Good beach and entertainment teams However here are my concerns about the hotel overall , which is not up to Rixos standards ( as a Rixos brand lover) : - Old hotel with renovations needed - Food Quality and diversity is far from Rixos standards ( Cheap all you can eat food) , Buffet options although cooked well , but very basic like an average hotel and food quality is not premium ( like limited and low meat quality, no Seafood international , breakfast limited options as well as dinner ) - i think i dont need to talk much about the food quality at Rixos and any manager would understand the difference between this Hotel and other rixos hotel all over the world ( not just UAE) - A la carte restaurants are even limited in options and as per the policy are not accessible for 1 night stay !
