Great time celebrating our daughter’s 5th birthday. Check-in was fast and easy. Room had birthday balloons and flowers on the bed upon arrival. Staff was welcoming and eager to please. Suggestions for improvement: Eggs Benedict station had hard eggs, not runny eggs. Made to order would be beneficial. Restaurant reservations were made in advance for some guests, not all. Didn’t know this was option until we tried to make a reservation and it was unavailable. Had to speak with staff to make arrangements Overall, great staff, food at the restaurants was amazing, activities were well planned, and would recommend to anyone for a nice getaway

Our family of four stayed at Rixos Al Mairid for two nights, and overall we had a pleasant experience. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the gaming room, swimming facilities, and live entertainment, which made the stay enjoyable for the whole family. The food was good and well arranged at the Turquoise Restaurant. A special mention to Mr. Javed, who took excellent care of us during all our breakfasts and dining—his service was warm, attentive, and truly appreciated. Prior to check-in, I had received an email requesting our preferences, where I clearly mentioned that we preferred a high-rise floor. However, upon arrival, we were initially offered a ground-floor room. Only after insisting was a top-floor room provided. This was disappointing, as preferences were already shared in advance. I had a similar experience in November at another five-star hotel in Dubai, where I was informed that only ground-floor rooms were available due to high occupancy, despite high-rise floors appearing vacant. This left me feeling that room allocation in some five-star hotels may be influenced by guest profiling rather than availability. I would sincerely recommend that the hotel respect guest preferences and communicate transparently, rather than making assumptions when allocating rooms. On a very positive note, 14th December was my daughter’s birthday, and the restaurant team went above and beyond by arranging a birthday cake. Five staff members surprised her by singing a birthday song, which made her feel very special and created a memorable moment for our family. The restaurant team was truly wonderful. Overall, a good stay with excellent hospitality from the restaurant staff, and with some improvement in room allocation transparency, the experience could be even better.

Our stay was great and my visiting parents in law were properly impressed by the service and the facilities. Everyone from the time we had valeted our car, check in, driving us to the villa, to the housekeeping, the buggy drivers, the persons who served our tables during meals, the persons at the Italian restaurant- everyone was very helpful and quick to offer assistance and suggestions to make things easier. Even the gentleman who serves the ice cream at the ice cream station, everyone was all smiles. Everything and everyone was truly amazing. Thank you for making it possibly this great and my parents in laws' visit with us and this weekend stay Rixos a memorable experience with me and my husband. We had been raving and sharing our experience with our friends!
