We had stayed with you at Rixos back in 2023 & once again it didn’t disappoint! We arrived in the early hours & couldn’t wait to start our day after a fantastic flight with Emirates! The hotel was immaculate clean & most rooms have now been updated …. We travelled as a couple with my brother & girlfriend after not being located in the same block on arrival this was quickly rectified the following morning when we were moved to a more suitable room overlooking the infinity pool. Breakfast was fabulous in the buffet restaurant although busy we sat in the adults only section & were looked after fabulously by the staff there who continued to do so all week when we ate there for lunch & dinner also. The beach was amazing with the jet skiing being a particular highlight! We loved the little beach truck which served cold drinks the pool bar was busy but always managed to get a sun bed & the drinks were plentiful & tasty! We tried the meat point for 2 nights fabulous steak & service. We loved the piano & violinist in the Piano bar each evening before dinner as well as the saxophonist & DJ by the pool in the afternoons something for everyone! We would like the thank in particular 2 waiting staff in the restaurant Bright & Barrett who made sure our stay was extra special each day as well as special treatment on my birthday with a cake singing & bubbles in the restaurant! We can’t wait to return next year & would recommend to anyone thinking about booking!

From concierge and reception our holiday truly began. The cleanliness of every area and smiling faces of the staff you encounter before arriving at a lovely room is so refreshing after a long flight. It’s hard to mention all the positive things at this hotel, the facilities for children are outstanding, although this time we travelled as just adults who enjoyed the wonderful facilities of the adult pool thank you Naveed for taking excellent care of us and all the bar staff who were extremely attentive. The beach has been extensively extended and looks superb with nice soft sand and you can relax knowing you are carefully watched by extremely happy very sociable and capable life guards. If you feel like extracting yourself from the sun beds the facilities for keeping fit are absolutely brilliant for a hotel and managed by a fun friendly team, I even took part in a few of the activities cycling, aqua trampolining and Pilates and I was greatly encouraged as believe me I am no keep fit bunny. If exercise isn’t your thing the friendly boys from the Spa come round and offer you the chance for a treatment, haircut or massage. I can definitely recommend the massage thank you Nadia. If you want a pre lunch drink you can go to Isla bar looked after by Ismail and his great team where they work extremely hard so a please and thank you doesn’t go unnoticed or unappreciated. A new option is the Highlight bar which is located in a cool shady area and managed by a wonderful man Abdul thank you . A bar we don’t tend to use but have been in is the sports bar if you fancy a game of pool or just catching up on some sport. Food, well this is a hard one to give a true impression to anyone thinking of staying here because the options are truly wonderful from the poolside snack van, bbq around the bar, a quick sit down for burger, wings etc at the toast and burger or a leisurely lunch at Olivio the Italian. In addition to these is the main buffet restaurant 7 heights I defy anyone not to find something extremely tasty to eat in there, a great option for families when you’re trying to please so many different tastebuds. You will sadly see some people take excessive amounts of food at one time only to leave half!! This is so unnecessary as you can go back multiple times, a far better option than wasting good food. On an evening it really goes up another level as the wonderful ala carte restaurants open Turkish, Fish Italian/ Asian and meatpoint if you like your meat. These need to be pre booked and are well worth doing. All the restaurants are headed up buy superb managers Mano, Sanjay and Mudhu to name a few and all the wonderful waiting staff. I must mention the entertainment that is put on on the stage by the restaurants 3 nights a week and other evenings at the Isla bar. It is not your average hotel show the shows and talents of the performers is first class and I would pay good money to go and see them. If like us you want a relax before or after your meal the newly located Mojito bar has stunning views in comfy furniture with drinks bought to you by awesome staff. Thank you I would then recommend having a lovely coffee and biscuit in the outside terrace or air conditioned lobby where every evening you can enjoy the talented pianist, violinist and saxophonist. There are so many wonderful staff here Alim, Aklima to name a couple who all work tirelessly hard keeping everything clean, the gardeners who keep the ground looking lovely the many many background kitchen staff who never get to see the effects of their extraordinary hard work on our faces thank you you have not gone unrecognised by us. You can only have a hotel as impressive as this if it is managed well so thank you to the General Manager, Miguel who has made our stay very special along with all the team. I could go on and I’m sorry if I’ve missed anyone or anything, but I think the best testament to Rixos Bab Al Bhar is the fact that we are already booked to return. Can’t wait to see you all soon.
