Lots of positives - buffet good (breads excellent) , secret beach lovely, it really is all-inclusive , very friendly staff, very entertaining teppenyaki restaurant Areas for improvement - rooms a little dated, no moisturiser in rooms, swimming pool area decor doesn’t feel very ‘upmarket’ , Daidala restaurant terrible - not worth any sort of supplement

Had a lovely relaxing holiday. Room was excellent and had everything we needed. Grounds and gardens are immaculate. Pools were brilliant and never had any issues getting a sunbed. Very attentive staff at pool always making sure I had a drink and the girls were lovely. Buffet restaurant was excellent. Food was lovely and there was great choice. Italian a la carte was delicious and Tepenyaki was also excellent. Chef at Tepenyaki was very talented and humorous. Peoples restaurant was lovely during day and in evening. Again staff were brilliant. Secret beach was great. Azur was delicious and snack bar was very good. All bars were excellent although found some staff at lobby bar did not really have much knowledge of drinks/mixers. This made it difficult when ordering drinks. Nox bar was brulliant and all staff were great. Entertainment was very good. Enjoyed how low key it was and again very relaxing. I wouldn't have a movie night however. Either choose a better movie or do away with it altogether as noone was watching it and it made the night quick boring. Love the Rixos concept and found it to be everything we expected it to be and more. Complimentary boat trip was also fabulous. We will return.

Had heard about Rixos as a brand and wanted to try Premium in Gocek as we like the general area. First impressions on arrival… experience did not set a tone to what we were expecting to look forward to. No offer of cold drink or cold towel/flannel after long journey. Felt check in was rushed with the lady just pointing to a portable board with coloured drawing of hotel plan. We were taken by buggy to our room and the driver asked we wanted him to show us around, this helped. Into room 1925. First thing we noticed was that the mirror was quite dirty, we couldn’t miss it! Then the bin in the toilet. This now made us aware of other things. The bathroom accessory holder on top of sink worn and broken. Layers of built up dirt around wood frame of sink. Layers of dust on metal frame of sink with hairs. Lampshades dusty and not also been cleaned in a long time. Layers of dust and hairs also to left of sofa on skirting. Outside the room the wooden rails are rotten and have been obviously been for some time! All this was not anywhere close to a standard we’d expect. We were relocated to room 1611. This we were told would be in around 15 minutes but was a lot longer. I think from arriving the whole process must have taken over 2 and a half hours. The room was acceptable. I will continue with areas of disappointment… We found that the focus on food in the buffet did not cover the British palette and a lot of the times we struggled to have something to eat. We also found what we did eat was often cold. Your a La carte restaurants should not be described as such. Again poor choice. This was confirmed by other guests who had booked them who said they were not worth paying for. The pool…. Metal railings are loose where the steps are going in to the pool. Wooden edging needs replaced. So what makes this a 5 star hotel? Its location in Gocek Its grounds and greenery It’s peaceful and relaxing If only you could freshen up the rooms Attend to and repair areas that need it Re invent your menus and bring them up a standard and cater for ALL tastes. This lets you down and in my opinion would only merit 3 star. We had spoken to other guests that have been guests for a second or third time and they all commented that hotel has taken a backward step. We were also told that Jet2 and TUI will not be partnering you and we were also told that Rixos were pulling out of this facility. If any of that is true we don’t know. We have always used 5 star hotels and the last 3 times have been to Akra - the Residence in Fethiye. Apart from your location and grounds unfortunately you are no where close to the standard and guest experience provided by them. They merit 5 stars in all departments, the quality there is exceptional. Having said all that, would we return? Jury’s out on that one. If the food was improved upon then yes.

We were very happy the staff was amazing they couldn’t do enough for us the chef Ali riza, yeshim at reception were very attentive the tui rep David was very helpful the boat trip was amazing we will be back thank you 🙏🏻
