Enjoyed our stay. Rooms very comfortable., public areas and pool very good. Food good. Food and drink service very poor. Tables not laid, staff not making eye contact with you. Asked to have tables laid you would get grunted at and staff would walk away. Had to approach staff for drinks. They made it seem like you were asking the world to have a drink with your food. Child’s plates are needed at meal times. Your crockery is beautiful but too heavy for young children to carry. Loved having a warm pool.
Another great stay at Rixos. Plus points, great family resort, facilities, very clean and the staff, food and general service is, on the whole, very good. Not so good: it is a buffet service at the end of the day in the big Turquoise restaurant, I think quality is good and seems to be better than some of the a la carte restaurants. Unfortunately the service in the main Turquoise Restaurant seems to have got worse from last year, possibly less staff? Waiting ages for drinks to arrive or getting incorrect orders was frustrating. Less staff round the pool drinks taking drink orders. Possibly out of the hotel control but the restaurants near the Lotus Bar were terrible for wasps again maybe just usual end of summer issues?? A lot of guests who are very rude to staff, treat people the way you would want to be treated as my mum always told me! Also, the same comment I made last year, when we checked out is it not too much to ask if you had a good stay!? It is your last personal interaction with the guests, make the effort! Also, please monitor the music played in all locations, some songs being used with terrible language with children nearby.
Had a brilliant holiday and loved the hotel. The whole place was super clean and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Got a free room upgrade when we arrived to a pool suite which was an amazing room. Our cleaner was lovely. The facilities are exceptional for children they can never be bored. Highly recommend
A lot of variety for all kinds of request and types of travellers, good family resort.
Hotel and staff was lovely, the beach bar was relaxing apart from you was listening to music playing from the beach bar on top of different music playing from the work out hut which is located straight across from the beach bar. I found this rather annoying! The food was nice that was served in the main restaurant but not that much to choose from, so after spending 10 days at the hotel it got a little repetitive. We had to had the option to book the À la cart restaurants on the hotel app but seemed to fail miserably every morning when trying. So never actually had the chance to try any of them, very disappointed!!! Overall I would not stay again!
