Rixos Downtown Antalya - The Land Of Legends Access

Few things to bring to your attention 1. Bad house keeping, shower cubicle not cleaned thoroughly. Dirt and hairs therein 2. Towels - had to request and then they were dated where some were wearing thin. Not satisfied 3. Bedding - last day noticed stains on bottom sheet which had been covered by larger sheet. Would have requested change of room if this had been noticed from day one. 4. Restaurant lack of English language understood ie asked for lemon tea and was served 3 cut pieces of lemon

Overall a good stay, positives were cleanliness, layout, location, reception staff, food and dining hall, most bar staff and service. Pool towels staff, staff were very happy to help and made us feel special, thank you. The reception snd outdoor areas were beautiful. I liked how easy it was to get drinks and the range of drinks and food. Things that I would point out that would have made it a perfect trip were allowing guests to smoke anywhere in bars and dining terrace was awful. I couldn’t stand to be there even though I wanted to due to smoking. Not nice when you’re trying g to enjoy your food. We had to sit near the children’s pool to avoid smoke when we wanted to be at the adult pool area. Land of legends. You dont give guests enough time there, both day and evening. It spoilt our visits as we had to rush around and didn’t do very much as it was already very busy when we got there. I do not like guest relations interrupting me reading my book to push me to write a review. I’d only been there a day! They kept coming back. Mini bar wasn’t always restocked and I had to ask for essentials in the room like shampoo. Please stop spraying cats with water when they are near your outdoor table unless guests ask you to. I know it’s hot, but I do not want legs spraying with water by a young waiter chasing them around! He was more of a pest than the cats although meant well. Curtains in the room were coming down. Need attention. Carpet looked dirty and under the beds and behind sofa were dirty. I was looking for electric sockets. Overall though we really enjoyed our stay

Room was fine, great view. Very comfortable bed. We liked the coffee machine and free mini bar. Pool and beach area were great. Main negative was the quality of the food and availability of the restaurants. The food quality in the main restaurant wasn't great. Chewy overcooked meat, juices for breakfast were not fresh, came from a machine, mass produced diluting juice. Wine quality was also quite low. When we asked for a restaurant booking on arrival we were told they were all fully booked. We had to speak to a manager to get a reservation. When we arrived at the restaurant on the Saturday, there were many free spaces so this seemed strange. Staff t the pool and beach bars were fantastic, friendly and helpful. Again the choices of food and quality of food at the beach bar was poor, certainly not 5 star and definitely not what I had expected from a Rixos hotel.

A very enjoyable holiday with plenty of things to do.The holiday was very relaxing with lots of chill time.
