The cleanest hotel I've ever stayed

During my stay at the hotel, I was very pleased with the staff's approach and the cleanliness. This facility is definitely worth the price. I want to stay here again next summer.

Lovely setting in the bay

Before booking we looked at reviews on trip advisor and also looked to check it was a five star hotel. The main building was very well designed and tastefully decorated and furnished and loved the fresh flowers in the entrance area. The main restaurant served a wide range of dishes which were mostly of a good quality. However the bedrooms (4915)and buildings were untidy with fold up beds blocking stairways and clutter not associated with the rooms in the downstairs stairwell. The bedrooms need updating, the shower trays don’t drain, the magnifying mirror didn’t work( but was replaced quickly when we notified reception) there should not be pictures hung on the walls falling from their frames, lamp was broken and no coffee machine and no bath robes. It spoilt our holiday as from the reviews I was led to believe the whole hotel was of a high quality expected of a five star hotel but it wasn’t. The staff were friendly but the restaurant service varied greatly and there seemed to be a big delay when requesting a cappuccino’s at breakfast.
