Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island

Hotel was lovely. Our room was decorated on arrival as it was our anniversary, which was a very nice gesture. Food was top class in the restaurants. We stay in Dubai a lot and I was say this was on the same level as the restaurants there.

It was a wonderful stay, experience. Food was amazing. Service was amazing! Top notch!

The hotel is well kept and the staff is accomodating. Thanks to Turkish chefs, the food was perfect :) Keep up with the good job.

It took some time to think about our stay at Rixos. It was ozr first Family tripp with baby. We were already in several Rixos hotels and were always satisfied. Just this times we were not 100% satisfied. The welcome was not as usual. Once we arrived at the hotel we did not receive any detailed information about the resort, although it was our first visit to Rixos Saadiyat Island. At the same time, we had to wait quite a long time for our luggage. Although it was known that we were traveling with a baby, but the baby bed was not ready and we did not have a baby equipment set in our room. We had to wait for the babybed and the bed sofa had to be cleaned up as a baby is not able to sleep on it. After asking the next day we received an overview of the restaurants and times. The employees at the restaurant and pool were just amazing they were very friendly. Specially Gökhan, Romell, Maria, Yusuf and Efnalberel. We also decided to take a photoshooting but it was really terrible Khalid (Carlos) was a very unfriendly guy. Sanad recommended him as a family photographer but we were not satisfied. On the day of the shooting he took someone else with him to take photos. It was really confusing with two photographers. But I have to say the guy which Khalid (Carlos) took with him was a great guy and took amazing photos. The photos of Carlos were not really usable. The one who should get the provision is the other one and not Khalid (Carlos). Additionally we agrred a different price with Sanad which was agreed whit his boss but Khalid (Carlos) did not trust us and raised his voice to us guests without checking it with Sanad or his boss and charged us more and additionally he charged also the service fees as we paid with card and not cash. All in one great location, great beach, amazing food but if we visit you once again we will definetly not make a photo shooting. Addiotionally we will think twice before we visit Rixos in Abu Dhabi or a another resort.

We stayed in the Rixos Saadiyat for 3 nights with our 5 month old baby. Having come from Dubai and often stayed in all inclusive resorts, we were excited to try out what Abu Dhabi had to offer. Overall it was a great stay, especially the pool bar area where staff were super attentive and the quality of the drinks were top notch. We ate in the restaurant by the pool also which was delicious and enjoyed the buffet for breakfast and lunch each day. We had a lovely meal in Aja which was a real highlight. We had a delay with checking in and only found out at check out that that had offered us complimentary lunch, late check out and pool access that day (too late to inform us while we were sat in the lobby checking out!) I would also say the room with the pool was not worth it as the pool was super cold and we couldn’t use this with our baby, or for ourselves. Overall we did enjoy our stay and we will likely return again when we want some good switch off time in a great resort.
