Just back from a week at the Rixos hotel. We so enjoyed our stay there. The quiet location, ( Dubrovnik is amazing but so very busy in the centre), the stunning sea views, the wonderful breakfast every day, but the thing that makes this hotel extra special are the staff. Almost with exception, they are so helpful and welcoming. That perfect combination of professionalism and warmth. They really do seem to care whether you are happy with everything during your stay. Now it’s fair to say that I was disappointed not to have a room upgrade when we checked in. I have an Accor card, Gold level, and we have had amazing upgrades in the past from other hotels. Our room was fine, with wonderful views from the balcony, but it was directly below the main restaurant and it was noisy in our room with tables and chairs being moved. We didn’t realise this until we had unpacked and been in the room for awhile so we decided not to ask to be moved. However, when I asked for a very late checkout time as we had an evening flight, I said about my checking in experience. Apparently there were no available rooms, but I was very pleased to be able to check out at 3pm, I think as a result of no room upgrade. A good end to a very enjoyable week.
I booked a 2 night stay for a romantic getaway with my wife. Every aspect of the trip was amazing , service from Memhet Ali was exceptional and he looked after us with diligence and respect. I used the Spa for a Sports Massage, Ella was amazing and really helped with my posture and well being. The food was 1st class, the only issue was choosing what to have as everything looked amazing. Loved the location with a 10minute walk to the the town centre. I felt I was in a 5 star hotel and I was relaxed well looked during the entirety of our trip will definitely be returning

As the end of honeymoon, this stay was a great final hotel for us to visit! We'd driven over two weeks down the coast of Croatia and to end at Rixos was perfect. We were pampered with great customer service, our bags taken to our room, the room being absolutely beautiful with a fab view, and the food was amazing! Great facilities and fab location as only a 15 minute walk to centre attraction of the Old Town! We highly recommend! Thank you everyone at the Rixos!!
