This was our second time staying, bringing the children along for this stay. We had requested an early check in - but on arrival that was not possible, which was fine. We had also requested two rollout beds for the children - and on entering our room this was not provided, so we needed to call the desk for this. Also - we were told at the time of booking that a bottle of wine would be left for my wife, but this wasn't present. I didn't bother chasing up on this. When we checked in, we didn't have our childrens Emirates IDs or passports with us. The manager told us that it was a requirement. I had to travel back to our home in Dubai to get these. So that was a bit of a bummer, but no fault of the hotel. What disappointed me was that the check in team didn't seem to care that it was an inconvenience and that it was a bit of stress for my family with a 2yo and 5yo. Again, I didn't expect anything and I know they couldn't do anything, but it was all treated rather 'matter of factly' with lack of empathy. Your housekeeping team were great. The one bed we stayed in had a nice view - though we paid extra for the view soley for the fireworks display that was cancelled, so that was a bummer. Also - last time we stayed in a one bedroom that had two bathrooms. I thought that would be the case with this deluxe one bedroom given the much higher price, so we were disappointed to discover it didn't have the second washroom. The pool facilities were great, so were the team down there. Breakfast was also amazing. And the Valet and baggage team were all excellent. I don't know why, I just left feeling a little let down. But I don't have any solid reason as to why this was the case. Hence my 8/10

Nice hotel, great good, very clean. Main restaurants staff busy and so not always attentive. Rooms nice and very clean. Shame we had noisy neighbours above or below. Woken two nights with raised voices. That went on. Second night complained and either by security intervention or by chance shouting stopped. Shame 2 out of 3 nights spoilt by this

Feedback on the Hotel Experience We stayed at your hotel for four nights, and I would like to mention that we generally enjoyed our stay. However, in a high-end hotel like yours, especially given the significant cost, the expectation is for a flawless experience down to the smallest details – and that’s where we felt disappointed. First, the WiFi connection in the rooms fell far short of expectations. The connection was unstable, disconnecting repeatedly, which disrupted my ability to work during the vacation. In 2024, fast, reliable, and advanced internet is not just a basic requirement but a critical component of any luxury hotel. Unfortunately, this issue detracted from our overall experience and caused unnecessary frustration. Second, cleanliness in the suite did not meet the expected standard for a hotel of this caliber. There was a noticeable stain on the bathroom floor that remained untouched throughout our stay, despite daily housekeeping. Such a prominent stain is something that cannot be overlooked, and we expected the cleaning staff to notice and address it immediately. Additionally, the overall daily cleaning felt insufficient, leaving the room less organized and tidy than what we would expect. As a public figure, a deputy mayor in my country, someone with high standards who frequently stays at hotels both locally and internationally, my expectations from a hotel of your level are accordingly high – uncompromising service and quality, with meticulous attention to the small details that distinguish a good hotel from an excellent one. Unfortunately, these experiences undermined the value we felt we received for the significant financial investment in our stay.
