Amazing, relaxed atmosphere, great food , great service, welcome and efficient staff , overall a wonderful stay
Staff were excellent as a starting point. Hotel very clean and well kept - you'll always see staff cleaning, gardening etc. Pool space was good - and the staff there are always on hand, plenty of drinks brought round. Food - buffet was disappointing I'm afraid, lacked variety over the course of our stay. Speciality restaurants were good, apart from the Brazilian which was just poor and the Asian where they brought the wrong dishes which weren't hot either. Turkish, Salt and Japanese were excellent. Spa treatment for my wife was brilliant and they made her feel very comfortable. Booked a Beach Cabana one day, really nice but not sure it's worth the expense. Last point - you do get pestered by the trip/salon/spa people, if you don't want that get the DND signs from the pool staff. You also get asked frequently to complete the guest survey on Google.
As per expectations...with pros and cons
We had the most wonderful week, all the staff outstanding, food amazing, hotel immaculate. Only thing that let it down for us was how hardcore the music was….wed have love more normal music which means more fun…songs to sing and dance too….songs that everyone loves and recognises and gets everyone going. All the DJ stuff was just too hardcore which totally spoilt it for us and many other guests we spoke to said the same. A few Fun nights with 80 and 90’s music would have been amazing and if the dj could have played softer more recognisable dance music that would have been so much more fun. That’s our only issue and if that was to change we’d definitely come back to your beautiful hotel
