It is a beautiful location but needs improvement with service and overall guest experience. Seems like you are overselling the all inclusive making it difficult for locations to keep up with excellent service. Also many barriers keeping from an excellent experience with the amount of money spent. For example having to walk up in person at 8am to make a dinner reservation we paid extra for? Waiters at the restaurant could not keep up with orders and drink service. Often taking over an hour to get a Coke and tea! Also on many occasions having to reorder the drinks 3-4 times bc the waiters would forgot! Also no sense of urgency at the hotel had to ask 3 times for towels, Toilet Paper and even an extra bed. They really should be benchmarking brands like Ritz Carlton on the guest overall experience. Needs major improvements for this price. As much as we loved the location I don’t think we will come back bc of the poor service.
The stay was fine, unfortunately I can’t say it was amazing. The pool area is very slippery and unsafe, and the beach is very rocky. Some of your staff need a lot of training for simple things such as smiling.
Very enjoyable stay. Thought it could not match Ricos Sharm, but came close
Overall Experience at Rixos Alamein Our stay at Rixos Alamein was generally satisfactory. One of the highlights was the thoughtful gesture from the team who decorated our room in celebration of our anniversary, this was a kind and much-appreciated touch. However, several aspects of the stay fell short of expectations, especially considering Rixos is positioned as a luxury resort. As an ACCOR Silver member, I typically receive recognition of my status during check-in, including benefits such as priority check-in, a welcome drink, and complimentary room upgrades. These were fully honored at other ACCOR properties—for example, Raffles Makkah, where we stayed the week prior and had an exceptional experience that went above and beyond in every detail. In contrast, at Rixos Alamein, none of these benefits were offered, there was no priority check-in, no welcome drink, and no complimentary upgrade. My membership status was not acknowledged at all during check-in, which was disappointing. Additionally, I experienced an issue with a late check-out request. Despite my Silver status, I was initially told that I would need to pay $50 for a late check-out. This was eventually handled by Mr. Karim Mohamed, the General Manager, who kindly offered a complimentary late check-out until 6:00 PM. Unfortunately, by that time, I had already arranged a 2:00 PM limousine pick-up, assuming no accommodation would be made, which rendered the late check-out offer too late to be of benefit. In summary, while there were positive aspects to the stay, such as the anniversary room decoration and Mr. Karim’s eventual support, the overall experience was a mix of good and disappointing moments. It ultimately fell short of the high standards I have come to expect from ACCOR’s luxury properties.
Overall a good experience but not the best value for the money spent. The all inclusive is not as advertised. No one would pay those prices in Egypt for buffet only experience You make booking restaurants difficult and very unenjoyable. I'm on vacation why should I have to go down stairs early in the morning to get a restaurant reservation before they book up ? I have stayed at many all inclusive a in Mexico and Caribbean and I can't believe ppl put up with this in inconvenience. Simply put if you can't offer a good experience for an all inclusive experience -don't offer it ! Bc this one issue can really ruin what otherwise would be a good experience
