Rixos Downtown Antalya - The Land Of Legends Access

It was the best! Rixos downtown is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at there absolutely nothing I can fault. The food, the staff, the transport, the app, room service, honestly everything is exceptional

Stayed at the Rixos Downtown for one week, had a really good time. Staff were excellent, always cheery and helpful. Food was really nice, A la Carte especially. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great time at the Rixos hotel. Our goal was to relax for a few days, eating and drinking well. The hotel and it's staff made our stay just as we wanted and we can easily recommend it to others.

All in all it was good stay but still it has some serious issues that made us feel partly dissapointed. Check in was super nice, lady from the desk stuff was waiting for us and gave all the information that we needed entering the hotel. She also took care of our meal which was nice after the flight and trip to hotel. Louggage was taken in seconds. Desk service was also nice. Garen, pool, pool bar and tropic bar, bikes, hotel outside sorrounding was perfect, lounge area inside, it was always nice to stay there. It was well seen that employees are taking care of it. Location of the hotel is also perfect, views from clifs are amazing. These parts we will rate 10/10. Biggest disapoitment was cleanliness of toilette and all room when we enter. Toilette was dirty, we were afraid to use it due to hygiene. It was awful. Also there was no bathrobes in room, mirrors were stained and floor was partly dirty under the sink. About redt of the room it was dusty, stained (stained phones, duvet under sheet, couch) and smelly. We didnt felt like it was fresh, except of sheets. Couch need to be washed from time to time, it feels bad to sit on it. It wasnt refreshed a long time. Lamps was so dusty that if you touch it there was hand mark left. Same picture frames, doors, bed headrest, desks was covered in dust that wasnt cleaned in months. General cleaning of the rooms is a must at least once in a week or two. Quick clean after guests isn't enough. Furniture was old, no problem with that, but cleanliness it is a issue that minimize comfort of stay in hotel. Next thing - restaurant that served rotten meat and cheese. Some dishes should be forbridden to serve and it happened 3 or 4 times that we found something that should be not served to eat. Other thing we have seen once that waiter is putting back food from plate left by the guest back to the serving area, disgusting behaviour. Also it was couple meals when no one offered us something to drink when there were waiters, but no one came near. Some waiters were focused on certain groups of guests that gave them tips, chatting with and serving them when other People were left with no water or anyting else to drink. We didn't report most of these issues cause it is consuming time, energy and nerves. Hotel should be place where you can rest peacefully, not to making complains all the time. We've reproted first issue (toilette and bathrobes) but had no will to loose more attention to report anything. It was good stay, but not perfect. Have a luck with going further with improvements cause you have potential!
