Rixos x Dubai Fitness Challenge 2025

Rixos The Palm Dubai proudly joins the Dubai Fitness Challenge this November with a dynamic programme of complimentary fitness sessions designed to inspire movement, balance, and recovery. Each week, the resort transforms into a playground for wellness enthusiasts, blending expert-led training with stunning seaside views.

With limited capacities for each event, participants are encouraged to book early and experience a month of transformative fitness in one of Dubai's most inspiring waterfront settings, a true celebration of the Dubai Fitness Challenge spirit.

Aqua Boxing introduces high-energy punches and defensive movements performed against the resistance of water. This joint-friendly practice boosts endurance, tones the upper body, and provides an empowering release of energy.

Sound Healing uses Tibetan bowls, gongs, and frequency-based instruments to guide participants into deep relaxation, meditation, and mental clarity. This final session helps consolidate the benefits of the previous practices, leaving participants with a sense of calm, balance, and renewed energy.

Aqua Fitmat introduces balance-board exercises performed on water. Participants activate their core, strengthen stabilizing muscles, and improve coordination while enjoying a fun and unique workout experience.

Functional Training is a full-body workout based on everyday movements, engaging multiple muscle groups to build strength, improve balance, and enhance core stability. The aquatic environment adds gentle resistance, making exercises joint-friendly while increasing effectiveness.

Dubai Fitness Challenge Activities

Retreat Day

WEEK 1 | 8 November: 50 participants

An immersive three-part experience, guests will flow through sweat-inducing sunset yoga, focus their minds with the unique Sadhu Board practice, and surrender to deep relaxation during a sound-healing session. This holistic journey recharges both body and spirit.

Aqua Circuit Workout

WEEK 2 | 15 November: 15 participants

The resort's semi-Olympic lap pool becomes the venue for an Aqua Circuit Workout. Participants rotate through aqua boxing, aqua cycling, and trampoline drills that deliver a low-impact yet energizing full-body workout. 

CrossFit & Ice Bath

WEEK 3 | 22 November: 20 participants

Pairing intensity with restoration, this fitness duet begins with a challenging functional workout before participants plunge into cold-water therapy, accelerating recovery and leaving them invigorated. 

Aqua Synergy Mix

WEEK 4 | 29 November: 25 participants

The series concludes with an energetic blend of functional training and balance-focused exercises on floating fitmats for a playful yet powerful finale.
